Hardware
Shore Systems Software will work with any PC and EPOS hardware. We do however believe in specifying good quality products that are specifically selected for their long life and low running costs. For EPOS stations we prefer to use seperate systems as compared with combined touch panel PC's. This allows for easier maintenance, better performance and longer life of its component parts. The disadvantage of size and space restrictions is overcome by using small form factor PC's which are not much bigger than the old video cassettes.
Computers
Preferred small form factor PC's and for tills, fanless units for reliable operation and small space requirements.
Touch Screens
Our screen of choice is the ELO 1229L. A stylish unit this comes with flexible options and attachments.
Printers
- THERMAL RECEIPT PRINTERS
We use and recommend the Samsung/Bixolon SRP350U as a solid, quiet, fast and reliable receipt printer. (Click for more information)
- THERMAL LABEL PRINTERS
For a thermal label printer you need a high speed product that will provide years of service. We recommmend the Datamax I Range. (Click for more information)
- OFFICE REPORT PRINTERS
Office report printing requires a well specified machine to reduce the cost of consumables and provide a good lifes service. We recommend the OKI range of printers. (Click for more information)
Barcode Scanners
Barcode scanners are the most important front line tool a till uses. We recommend the Symbol Range.
